Larne Motor Club decided to organise a Navigational Lanes Rally on Saturday 8th October.  We had never organised an event of this kind before and with Kilwaughter Village Hall forming the base of the rally, the competitors started do arrive on the damp Saturday morning.  The compact route chosen around the Larne area led to 19 tests around Farms, Lanes and Industrial Estates.  The rally was marginally won by Robert Woodside Jr in his Mazda MX5 by 1 second over the Earney crew in their Toyota Starlet.
